October 2017—TitleOne Donates $37,500
We are excited to announce the donation of $37,500 to this year’s TitleOne Charity Golf classic beneficiaries. Local charities CATCH Inc., Make a Wish Idaho and Salvation Army Marian Pritchett School each received $12,500. We are beyond proud to help support the mission of these three great charities.

2016

September 2016—Title Resource Group Acquires TitleOne
Title Resource Group LLC (TRG), a full-service title and settlement services provider, announced the acquisition of TitleOne headquartered in Boise, Idaho. TitleOne has approximately 215 employees and 13 offices that provide title and settlement services to homebuyers across the state of Idaho. The company will continue to operate under its current name, and former co-owner Mark Tidd will remain with TitleOne as chief executive officer. Read full press release here.

January 2016—TitleOne Receives Third Party ALTA Best Practice Certification
TitleOne is proud to announce compliance and certification with American Land Title Association’s (ALTA) Title Insurance and Settlement Company Best Practices Framework – a benchmark for the real estate settlement and mortgage lending industries from a trusted and highly regarded third-party auditing firm. ALTA certification demonstrates that settlement and title service providers have internal procedures and policies in place to protect lenders and consumers, while ensuring a positive and compliant real estate settlement experience. TitleOne has completed recertification for the statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16. A widely recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, SSAE 16 verifies that a company has been through an in-depth audit of its control objectives and activities to ensure the safety and security of its customer data.; SSAE 16 recertification involves a comprehensive assessment of an organization’s customer support processes, change management, database security, data backup, systems availability, and monitoring of network security and Logical Access Network.

September 2015—TitleOne Acquires Sun Valley Title
TitleOne, a leading provider of title insurance and settlement services, announced its acquisition of Sun Valley Title — a Blaine-County-based company with locations in Ketchum and Hailey — that has been providing title and escrow services since 1907. According to TitleOne CEO, Mark Tidd, Sun Valley Title is the perfect fit for TitleOne, in terms of geographic desirability, history, and customer service. Tidd explained: “Adding Sun Valley Title to the TitleOne family will expand our servicing capability into more counties, with new locations and the addition of an outstanding team. The Sun Valley Title team has a long-standing history of delivering outstanding service to the Blaine County market, which aligns with TitleOne’s commitment to our team and customers throughout Idaho.” Read the press release here.

August 2015—14th Annual Charity Golf Classic

June 2015—Justin Robertson Promoted to AVP and Twin Falls Team Leader
TitleOne has promoted Justin Robertson to Assistant Vice President and Twin Falls Team Leader. Robertson, an Idaho native, joined TitleOne in 2005 and most recently was a commercial escrow officer for TitleOne in Boise. additionally, Justin has served on strategic teams that were responsible for creating and implementing a software project, a health care savings plan, and an orientation program. In his new position, he will oversee office operations and manage title, escrow, sales and administrative members in Twin Falls. Read the press release here.

April 2015—Idaho Business Review: A Word with Mark Tidd
Mark Tidd, the CEO of the title and escrow company TitleOne, is still guided by the life lessons he received from his football coaches at Borah High School and the University of Idaho. March 2015—Mark Tidd talks with the Title Report About Compliance Implementation
(From article) In the past, agencies had someone, generally a lawyer, ensuring the company was in compliance with RESPA and state regulations. Now, there are chief compliance officers and compliance departments dedicated to regulations and their deadlines. At TitleOne, General Counsel Cameron McFadden was the point person for the company’s compliance activities. Mark joins new board leadership for the Boise Valley Economic Partnership, the regional economic development organization for Southwest Idaho. The Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP) is the regional economic development organization for the Boise Valley, representing the southwestern Idaho counties of Ada, Boise, Canyon, Gem and Owyhee, and including the capitol city of Boise. With a long-term mission of creating jobs, attracting new businesses to the region and encouraging investment in the community, BVEP is actively involved in the economic vitality of the Boise Valley, and is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the quality of life for businesses and families alike.

August 2014—Land Title and Escrow is now TitleOne
We are pleased to announce Land Title and Escrow is now operating under the TitleOne brand. The name change is effective August 1, and is a result of being acquired by TitleOne in March of this year. May 2014—TitleOne recieves Nampa Chamber award
TitleOne was recently awarded the Nampa Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award. Entries were judged on: excellent business practices, operating with integrity and giving back to the community.

May 2014—Lisa Bain receives award

April 2014—TitleOne Announces Promotions
TitleOne announced that Mark Tidd, president of TitleOne, has been named chief executive officer (CEO) for the title and escrow company.  As CEO, Tidd will continue to work with the senior management team on the company’s strategic direction and growth. Doug Brigham was promoted to President of TitleOne, where he has operational oversight of 13 TitleOne offices located across the state.  Vicki White was promoted to Senior Vice President/Culture & Quality Officer at TitleOne, an operational role that ensures the TitleOne culture and quality standards are attained at every location. Abby Black was promoted to Vice President/Treasure Valley Operations Team Leader for TitleOne, where she will continue to manage sales and marketing in the Treasure Valley with additional operational responsibilities that include residential and commercial title and escrow functions. Randy Rabehl was promoted to Vice President/Corporate Controller. In Randy’s new role as Controller, he will oversee all treasury, accounting, finance, and general administration activities for TitleOne and its subsidiaries. Read the full press release here.

March 2014—We are excited to announce TitleOne has acquired Land Title and Escrow
the Magic Valley’s largest title and escrow company, with offices in Twin Falls, Jerome, Gooding, Rupert and Burley. Founded in 1957 in Burley, Idaho, Land Title and Escrow employs approximately 50 people at its five office locations. Larry Roberts, president and general manager of Land Title and Escrow, joined the company in 1973 and will continue to oversee day-to-day operations.  “The decision to transition ownership to TitleOne was an easy one. Combining the best practices of both companies allows us to streamline operations and efficiencies while offering our customers a greater range of products and services,” said Roberts. “Partnering with Land Title and Escrow provides a firm foundation for growing our title and escrow services throughout Idaho,” said Mark Tidd, CEO of TitleOne.  "The company has a proven history of success based on its quality of service and people, and its 57-year history in the title and escrow industry. October 2013—TitleOne Announces Compliance with SSAE 16 Standards
We are excited to announce we have successfully completed an independent audit for statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16. Previously called SAS 70, SSAE 16 is a widely recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). SSAE 16 verifies that a company has been through an in-depth audit of its control objectives and activities to ensure the safety and security of its customer data.  Specific objectives of this audit address availability, customer support, change management, database security, data backup, systems availability, monitoring of network security and Logical Access Network (LAN). October 2013—We Call Him Coach. Mark Tidd Featured in BVEP Partner Spotlight
Mark’s determination has given him a competitive edge throughout his career. Clark Krause, Executive Director for BVEP explains, “Mark truly leads by example. His employees even call him coach.”  “Coach” is a fitting title for Mark with his history of being a U of I defensive back superstar on the football field. An article from a 1986 Spokesman Review stated, “For most Idaho football players, the double yellow lines on the jersey sleeves are ornamental. October 2013—TitleOne Donates $30,000 to Golf Charity Classic BeneficiariesCheck Presentation
The results are in! We hit our goal of raising $30,000 through the CharityOne Golf Classic. This week we donated $5,000 to the Jeff Tunison Memorial Scholarship Fund, $12,500 to Big Brothers Big Sisters and $12,500 to Camp River Run.  Thank you to everyone who participated in the tournament or the online auction. We look forward to doing it again next year.

September 2013—TitleOne Hires Jim Pierce to Manage Coeur d’Alene Office
We’re pleased to announce the recent hire of Jim Pierce, who will join the TitleOne team as Vice President, Kootenai County Team Leader. In this role, Pierce will manage daily operations at the new Coeur d’Alene office, as well as team members and existing and new customer relationships.  Pierce has 25 years of general business experience that includes:  finance, commercial lending, sales, marketing, business management, customer service, and community relations.  A Coeur d’Alene resident, Pierce most recently worked in the banking industry as a vice president of commercial lending. September 2013—We're expanding to Coeur d'Alene
TitleOne will expand its title and escrow business to Northern Idaho this Fall.  Plans to open a new Coeur d’Alene office in early October means an additional 10-12 new jobs (including escrow and title officers) for the local economy.   With established offices in Ada, Canyon, Boise, Butte, Jefferson, and Bonneville counties, the move to Northern Idaho enables TitleOne to provide title and escrow services to customers in nearly all regions of Idaho. August 2013—TitleOne Charity Golf Classic
Three Idaho charities will soon benefit from TitleOne’s 12th annual TitleOneGolf Classic golf tournament.  More than 20 teams took to the fairway to help TitleOne raise $30,000 for the Jeff Tunison Memorial Scholarship Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Camp River Run. The tournament has raised $330,000 since its inception in 2001.

June 2013—Clayton Freeman receives Accomplished Under 40 Award
Clayton and 39 other honorees were featured in the 2013 Accomplished Under 40 magazine in the June 14th issue of Idaho Business Review. May 2013—TitleOne amongst finalists for Chamber Award
The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce recently presented awards for 2013 Small Business of the Year, Nonprofit "Making a Difference" Community Service Award, and "Best of the Chamber". TitleOne was recognized as a finalist in the Small Business of the Year (Small-size company) category.

March 2013—TitleOne is proud to participate in HUD's Buyer Select Program
All buyers whose contracts are executed on or after 2/24/13 will be required to select their own escrow company. The selling agent will be required to complete an addendum providing the name and contact information of the selected escrow company. August 2012—The 11th annual TitleOne Charity Golf Tournament
Three Idaho charities were the real winners at TitleOne’s 11th annual TitleOne Golf Classic golf tournament.  One-hundred-eight golfers took to the fairway to help TitleOne raise $30,000 for The First Tee of Idaho, the YMCA’s Camp at Horsethief Reservoir and Camp River Run. The tournament has raised nearly $300,000 since its inception in 2001.

May 2012—Congrats to Customer Service Representative; Matt Caba
Matt was honored as 'Employee of the Year at Nampa's Chamber of Commerce year end event. Matt is an Idaho native, born in Nampa.  At age 32, Matt has been an outstanding citizen of our community including various activities and functions through his church.  He is an avid hunter and enjoys golf, whitewater rafting and most all outdoor activities.

September 2011—TitleOne has acquired Idaho Title and Trust
One of eastern Idaho’s oldest title companies, bringing its legendary customer service and employee ownership business model to the eastern half of the state.  Read the press release.

September 2011—Among 2011 honorees for Better Business Bureau’s Integrity Counts Recipients
The purpose is to recognize businesses in our surrounding communities for demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ethical business practices. Since the inception of the program, over 550 companies have been nominated from within our community.

August 2011—The 10th annual TitleOne Charity Golf Tournament
was a huge success with 21 teams participating on August 31st at Spurwing Country Club.  We have proudly raised $225,000 over the last nine years and this year’s event should put us close to the $250,000 mark!

the American Heart Heart WalkAssociation’s Heart Walk.  The Start! Heart Walk celebrates those who have made lifestyle changes and encourages many more to take the pledge to live healthier lifestyles while raising the dollars needed to fund life-saving research and initiatives.  TitleOne’s ‘HeartOne’ team was joined by 20 team and family members and raised over $2000!

2010

December 2010—For title industry, 2011 could resemble 2010. Idaho Press Tribune speaks with TitleOne President, Mark Tidd regarding the 2011 outlook. “We are anticipating 2011 to look a lot like 2010,” Tidd said. “I don’t think we’ll see a lot of real estate growth, but the market seems to be stabilizing, not declining, which is a good sign.” Read the entire article here.

December 2010—TitleOne receives IPHA Award. TitleOne is among four companies that have been honored with the Psychologically Healthy TitleOne receives healthy workplace awardWorkplace Award. The Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award was created to recognize organizations that understand the link between employee health and well-being and organizational performance and have implemented a variety of workplace practices in an active effort to create a positive work environment. August 2010—TitleOne Charity Golf Classic tournament surpasses the quarter-million-dollar milestone for funds raised benefiting Idaho charities. Celebrating a decade ofCharityOne check presentation legendary title and escrow service in Idaho, TitleOne announced it has surpassed the quarter-million dollar mark for funds raised over the past nine years, primarily through its annual CharityOne Golf Classic at Spurwing Country Club.  This year, 64 golfers helped raise $20,000 that will directly benefit The First Tee of Idaho and the YMCA’s Camp at Horsethief Reservoir. Since 2001, the charitable golf tournament has raised more than $235,000 bringing the company foundation’s total fund-raising efforts to $265,000. Read the entire press release here.

September 2009—TitleOne lends a hand to Habitat for Humanity Saturday Habitat for HumanitySeptember 12th.  We had a great turn out of employees showing support, providing lunch and swinging a hammer to help build a home at their newest home site locations on Maple Grove.   Everyone had a great time and learned the true meaning of ‘sweat’ equity. Formed in 1990, the Boise Habitat for Humanity has helped over 48 families become homeowners in our area.  Learn more about Habitat for Humanity here.

August 2009—TitleOne successfully held their 8th annual CharityOne golf tournament August 26th, 2009. This year's proceeds benefited the Children's Home Society of Idaho, First Tee of Idaho and Habitat for Humanity. We had a full field of golfers and our Double Eagle sponsors included Family Eye Care Specialists, Idaho Independent Bank and US Bank. We raised $18,000 for the year—launching our total fund-raising efforts near $220,000 over the last eight years.

June 2009—Mark Tidd, President, TitleOne; joins speaker panel at the Settlement Services Summit Conference. Topics included understanding the Agent-Underwriter relationship and a discussion about what underwriters of all sizes can do to help agents, and how agents can maximize these benefits. This useful discussion furthers the understanding of the most recent changes in the agent-underwriter dynamic, and actions underwriters are taking to serve agents.

June 2009—TitleOne Experiences 65% Growth Despite Tight Real Estate Market. The real estate crunch is enough to put even the healthiest title company through a severe stress test. March 2009—Krysti St. John recognized by IAMB. TitleOne congratulates Krysti St. John for being named IAMB (Idaho Association of Mortgage Brokers) Affiliate of the Year. The Idaho Association of Mortgage Brokers is a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting the Mortgage Broker Industry.  They honored Krysti for her honesty, communication skills and dedication to growing the organization.

2008

December 2008—Unique ownership structure helps TitleOne endure downturn. Mark Tidd was recognized in the Title Report for navigating the company through the severe market downturn. November 2007—When Work Works. TitleOne receives Mark Tidd receiving Alfred P Sloan award Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility. This award, featured in a USA Today promotional recognizes organizations that promote how, when and where work gets done in ways that work for both the employer and employee. TitleOne thanks the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Twiga Foundation for this special recognition.

2005

September 2005— Children's Home Society Golf Tournament. TitleOne successfully hosted the 4th annual Children's Home Society golf tournament to raise money for the Children's Home Society of Idaho. It was a beautiful day for the 96 great golfers to enjoy the tournament. We met our goal of raising $30,000 for the Children's Home and we are appreciative of all who participated in the tournament. September 2005—TitleOne re-aligns escrow team to tackle record growth. TitleOne announced several staff changes designed to strengthen and support customer care within both the commercial and residential business teams. Scott Darling, the Treasure Valley’s top Residential Escrow Officer, accepted a promotion to join TitleOne’s elite Commercial Team.
